As a Manager or Owner it is your primary responsibility to look for ways to increase profitability and reduce costs. In the industries we service like Apartment Complexes, Hotels, Motels, Laundries etc it is hot water that is usually the 2nd or 3rd highest utility expense. It is very possible that upgrading your existing water heater can greatly reduce your operating expenses and the savings can dramatically reduce the time it takes for your investment to pay itself off.

A Luxury Hotel in Kentucky utilized (4) 20 HP Boilers to provide hot water for its 340 Rooms. The Boilers were 20 Years old and an independent engineer estimated their operating efficiency at 50-55%. They failed on New Years Eve and cost the hotel over $40,000.00 having to comp the rooms. They did patch 2 heaters and within 6 weeks ECWS had replaced the boilers. ECWS’s Engineering team resized the true amount of BTU’s needed and offered a solution. (2) CW 1750 Futera Fusions at 96% Efficiency. The pictures above show the dramatic difference in size from the before and after we completed the project. The best news we received from the customer after 9 months in service, utility costs for hot water have been reduced by nearly 50%. ROI was estimated at 31 months.

Our most recent hotel in Florida (below) saved $3,000.00 in the first month of replacing their old water heaters with a new higher efficiency system. We replaced 2 each 3.5 million BTU units that operate at 82% new/approximately 50% when removed with 2 each 2 million BTU units that took up half the space and was 75% quieter. Their first months gas bill was $3,000.00 less than the previous month. ROI is estimated to be approximately 36 months.
